Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Going Rate, a service operated by Citrusworks ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
What Going Rate is
Going Rate reads public information about local businesses (websites, booking pages, maps, public deal listings and public statistics) and summarizes it, including what nearby businesses charge and suggestions you might consider. It is an information tool.
No guarantees and no professional advice
- Information comes from third-party websites and data sources and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. We check prices against the pages they come from and link every price to its source, but we cannot guarantee accuracy.
- Suggestions in your report are general information, not financial, legal, tax or marketing advice. You decide your own prices and marketing.
- Going Rate never sets, recommends coordinating, or shares your prices with other businesses. Use the information to make your own independent decisions.
Your account
- Give a valid email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Free accounts include a monthly number of scans, shown on the site. We may change free allowances or introduce paid plans; paid terms will be shown before you pay.
- One account per person. Creating accounts to get around limits is not allowed.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- scrape, copy or resell Going Rate's reports or data in bulk, or access the service by automated means other than its normal use;
- try to break, overload, or get around the security or limits of the service;
- use the service to harass, defame or mislead anyone, or to break any law, including competition laws.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Third-party content
Business names, logos, photos and prices belong to their owners and are shown to identify the business and its public offers, with links to the source. If you own content shown on Going Rate and want it corrected or removed, contact us.
Our content
The Going Rate site, design and software belong to Citrusworks. You may use your reports for your own business.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Citrusworks is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions made using the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date above will change and significant changes will be shown on the site. You can stop using Going Rate and ask us to delete your account at any time.
